What is Labbaik 313?

Labbaik 313 is an Umrah initiative by Siiru. The goal is to send 313 people from Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore for Umrah.

230

places will be funded through corporate sponsorships

83

places will be funded through public donations. From these, 30 asnaf in Malaysia will be identified with the support of Al Khaadem.

What Siiru will do

Siiru leads the campaign and manages the Umrah programme. They set it up across Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore, and they are raising the funds for all 83 public places, not only the Malaysian ones.

Siiru and their licenced partners manage the journey itself, including the flights, visas, guides and ground transport.

What Al Khaadem will do

Al Khaadem supports Siiru in two ways. We assist with the crowdfunding for the Malaysian share, the 30 places, and bring this campaign to our community here.

We also help identify eligible asnaf from families already under our care, through Skuad Prihatin Kemiskinan (SPK).

Al Khaadem trained over 20 of Siiru's mutawwif through Batch 1.0 of the Siiru Mutawwif Development Program.

Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei and Singapore. Al Khaadem is raising for 30 of them, all from Malaysia.

Who are we sending?

We are not opening this campaign to random applicants. The pilgrims will be selected from families already supported through Al Khaadem's Skuad Prihatin Kemiskinan (SPK) programme.

These are poor and low-income families that our team already knows and supports with monthly food aid. SPK families are interviewed and visited at home before being accepted into the programme.

The final 30 pilgrims will be selected based on eligibility and their ability to undertake the Umrah journey.

Why are we doing this?

The families in our SPK programme already need help with basic necessities such as food.

For many of them, paying RM9,500 for Umrah is simply not something they can afford.

This campaign gives us an opportunity to change that for 30 people. We already help these families every month. Now, with your support, we can also help 30 of them perform Umrah.

RM9,500 sponsors one person. You can sponsor a full Umrah or contribute any amount towards one.

Give sadaqah and seek Allah's reward

Allah the Almighty tells us about the reward of spending our wealth for His sake.

Allah multiplies the reward of giving

Allah the Almighty compares those who spend their wealth in His cause to a grain that grows seven ears, with one hundred grains in each ear.

"And Allah multiplies the reward even more to whoever He wills."

Al-Baqarah, 2: 261

Charity is multiplied

"Indeed, those men and women who give in charity and lend to Allah a good loan will have it multiplied for them, and they will have an honourable reward."

Al-Hadid, 57: 18

Charity does not decrease your wealth

The Prophet ﷺ said:

"Charity does not decrease wealth."

Sahih Muslim 2588

Help someone towards good

The Prophet ﷺ said:

"One who guides to something good has a reward similar to that of its doer."

Sahih Muslim 1893

Your support can be a means through which someone is able to perform this act of worship. And even if you cannot donate, you can still help by sharing this campaign with someone who can.

No amount is too small

The Prophet ﷺ encouraged us to give even when what we can offer is very little. He said:

"Save yourself from Hell-fire even by giving half a date-fruit in charity."

Sahih Bukhari 1417

Give what you are able to give. You will not be on the flight but the one who opens the road, walks part of it. May Allah reward you with the reward of an Umrah.

30 of those places have been allocated to beneficiaries selected through Al Khaadem in Malaysia.

Who will Al Khaadem send for Umrah?

We will select 30 poor and needy asnaf from families already supported through Al Khaadem's Skuad Prihatin Kemiskinan programme.

These are families that Al Khaadem already supports through monthly food aid and other assistance.

How do you know these families really need help?

SPK beneficiaries go through Al Khaadem's vetting process, which includes an interview and home visit before they are accepted into the programme.

We already work with and support these families throughout the year.

How will the 30 pilgrims be selected?

Al Khaadem will assess beneficiaries already under the SPK programme and select eligible individuals for the Umrah journey.

Final selection will also take into consideration whether the individual is able to undertake the journey.

How much does it cost to send one person?

RM9,500 funds one Umrah place.

Do I need to donate RM9,500?

No. You can donate any amount. Donations will be combined to help fund the 30 Umrah places.
