NMC Logo Design Competition

CONTEST TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. The Contest is open to Malaysian citizens aged 12 years old and above.
2. Entry deadline is Saturday, 6 August 2021.
3. Participants may submit a maximum of two (2) entries. A separate Entry Form must accompany each submission.
4. All submitted work must be the original work of the participant and must not include, be based on, or derived from any pre-existing or third-party designs, trademarks, or copyrighted images that may infringe such third party’s intellectual property rights.
5. All entries will become the sole property of Al-Khaadem’s New Muslim Community (NMC). By submitting an entry, participant agrees that any and all intellectual property rights in relation to the logo designed and submitted by the participant shall be deemed assigned to NMC.
6. The logo will be used in all media platforms – including but not limited to – online, print, merchandise materials and other visual collaterals.
7. NMC reserves the right to modify the winning logo to better fit the needs of the initiative.
8. Al Khaadem permanent employees are not eligible to participate in the contest.
9. Results will be announced by 9 August, 2021.

LOGO SPECIFICATIONS

1. Entries should be done and submitted in digital format (at least 300 dpi with a file extension of .jpg or .png).
2. The logo must be in the size of 1080x1080px.
3. The raw file of the digital artwork should be illustrated in A4 size using Adobe Illustrator (.ai) or any other vector graphics software.
4. Label your file with your name and design number.
Example: sayd_design1.jpg, abdullah_design1.png.
5. Provide a brief description or rationale (not more than 300 words) explaining the components of the logo designs should also be included in each entry.
6. The logo shall not carry ANY mention. For example, Watermarks, Trademarks, Signatures, Name, Initials and Markings.
7. The decisions of the Selection Committee formed by Al- Khaadem’s NMC be final. The winner shall be informed through email and/or telephone call.
8. The selected winner MUST submit a high-resolution vector file (.ai) and of the winning designs so that it is adaptable to electronic and print media, to reproduce on small and large surfaces, and to use in colour or in gray scale.
9. By participating in this Contest, the participants irrevocably agree to be bound by the terms and conditions herein stated.
