Aqiqah FAQs

Aqiqah is a sunnah act of worship performed as gratitude to Allah for the birth of a child. It involves the sacrifice of livestock and distributing the meat to family, friends, and the needy.

It is recommended to perform Aqiqah on the 7th day after the child’s birth.

  • For a baby boy: two goats or sheep

  • For a baby girl: one goat or sheep

It’s still valid to perform Aqiqah later if you were unable to do it on the recommended date.

Bookings FAQs

You are required to confirm your booking at least 5 days in advance for us to make the necessary arrangements.

If you require urgent booking (less than 4 days) please contact us via Whatsapp first before you proceed with your booking.

Package A – Basic Processing

  • The goat will be slaughtered, skinned, and stored in a cold room to maintain freshness.
  • Collection of the whole carcass of the goat can be arranged upon request.
  • Option to slice/cut into sections is also available (additional charges may apply by the meat house).
  • Whole carcass options allows you to:
    • Self-Manage – Take the carcass home and cut it according to your own preferences.
    • Caterer Use – Send it directly to a caterer for events such as Roasted Lamb / Kambing Golek.

Package B – Vacuum-packed Portions

  • The goat will be slaughtered, cut into smaller pieces, and vacuum-packed in 1kg packs.
  • Each goat typically yields 12–15 kg of meat (around 12–15 packs)

Yes, you may collect the meat with the following arrangements:

Package A – Meat Collection

  • The meat will be ready for collection within 2 days after slaughtering.
  • Collection is self-arranged at the Meat House in Shah Alam.
  • You can choose to receive the whole carcass of the goat
  • OR option to cut it into sections (additional charges may apply by the meat house).
  • Delivery option is also available (additional charges may apply)
  • We will contact you once it is ready and provide you with the exact collection location.

Package B – Meat Collection

  • The vacuum-packed meat will be ready within 2 days after slaughtering.
  • Collection is self-arranged at Meat House in Shah Alam or Al Khaadem (waze Al Khaadem)
  • Delivery option is also available (additional charges may apply)
  • We will notify you once your order is ready for collection.

Yes, you have two options:

  1. Self-Collection & Distribution – Collect the meat and personally distribute it to family, friends, or the needy.

  2. Distribution by Al Khaadem – Let us handle the distribution to the needy on your behalf, at no extra cost.

Yes. You will receive a digital Aqiqah certificate and photos as proof that the Aqiqah has been completed.

Yes. Al Khaadem offers Tahneek services. You may arrange your Tahneek session with us by clicking here.

Yes. You may pay for your Aqiqah in 4 instalments (interest-free) through Grab Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL). This option will be available for you at checkout.
