Qurban is an act of worship commanded by Allah and performed in the days of Eid al-Adha. It is a sacred sacrifice done in remembrance of the obedience of Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) and in devotion to Allah alone.

Allah says: “So pray to your Lord and sacrifice.” (Surah Al-Kawthar 108:2)

Qurban is not merely the slaughtering of an animal. It is an act of submission, gratitude, and taqwa.
